No Hate, No Fear is a bold reminder that our communities are strongest when we stand together. Brewed in honor of our immigrant community and their resilience, this beer calls for solidarity, dignity, and courage in the face of fear. Everyone deserves to live, thrive and belong without hate. This beer is a collaboration project with breweries across Washington State and a portion of all sales will be donated to local NGOs doing important immigrant advocacy.

Surprisingly murky brownish beer though foam lasts quite a while. Watery body. No aroma to speak of. Astringent tea flavor and then an odd taste of old cinnamon in the background. It tastes exactly like an Old Ale, but watered down. There is a citrus flavor with some lemon peel and then that musty, earthy malty finish. I can't imagine what they were doing with this beer but it seems like someone pushing the wrong buttons on the computer and bottling it anyway.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. No date on the can, but I happen to know this is a brand-new release.

Appearance: medium yellow hue with plenty of haze and a thick finger of frothy ivory foam atop.

Smell: citrus peel, fresh pine, and some tropical notes as well, over a lightly sweet malt base. I really like it.

Taste: moderate sweet with some subtle notes of orange and pineapple, and a moderate bitterness. It’s not bad at all.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: this is branded as a west coast IPA, and though it has some of those traits, for me it falls somewhere between a westy and a hazy. But I have zero complaints - it’s a damn drinkable beer.
