The two finger head is pale brown. Good retention, some lacing. The liquid is almost black (100 EBC).
Notes of rye bread dominates the smell. Some wort and a sour hint in the background. Mild floral bitterness and some metal. Frowsy alcohol in the background.
Metallic bitterness in the background in the taste, too. There are notes of rye bread, and Digestive biscuits. It is a bit dry. Semi-sweet worty notes and some roasted flavours. The body is light. The aftertaste got roasted notes with doughy pumpernickel flavours and floral hops. Light bitterness. Metallic flavours and dough in the finish.
Fresh lager carbonation with mid-sized short-lived bubbles. Light (but not watery) liquid.
This beer’s flavours just doesn’t stick togeher, and quite a lot of off-flavours too.
