The colour is yellow with a hint of gold; the high head slowly sinks down to a fine white lid. Minimal lacing.
The smell is bitter and hoppy with some notes of French loaf, grape fruits and herbs.
The taste is first very bitter. Then, a grassy/earthy flavour emerges together with a bodybuilding somewhat sweet flavour. The aftertaste got a low-key bitterness that fades slowly, leaving a grassy flavour of aroma hops with a gentle creamy note of alcohol.
The carbonation I average for a pale euro lager. Small bubbles.
The name is an ambiguity; it could mean both our beer and spring beer. The brewers stated that they wanted to make a good, uncomplicated hoppy lager to celebrate the coming of spring.
I am a little bit concerned about the new beers from Slottskällan: Earlier on, they produced very fine and typical beers of the most diverse European styles. Now, it seems like they are more interested of doing American micro-type beers with experimental blends of hops. And the results doesn't really convince me.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
