Bottle conditioned. The colour is hazy yellow-orange with a tint of pale green. The white airy foam sinks quickly down to a very thin lid, leaving no lacing.
The mellow smell is sour like lemon juice with some dry notes of wheat dough, some yeast and a hint of oranges.
The taste is bread-y with notes of white loaf, but there is also a fine sourness with notes of lemons and herbs like coriander. The body is lighter than in most Weisens, lets blame the relatively low alcoholic content. The balanced aftertaste got some sweetness, yeast, dough and lemon peels.
The carbonation is, as it should be, very strong with lots of large bubbles. The liquid is both dry and smooth in my mouth.
A little bit watery, otherwise this is a good representative of the style. This one will go very fine together with spicy food.
