A: Amber pour with a medium large, creamy, compact white head. Dissipates into quite nice lacings.

S: Fruity, matly. Some floral and some bitter hops.

T: American floral and bitter hops - kind of citric and kind of piney. The malt is held back.

M: Medium long bitter aftertaste. Carbonation is medium as well as the body.

D: A nice Euro Dark Lager.

The liquid is clear; the colour is deep brown-red. The airy three finger head is firm and uneven; it leaves lots of thick lacing on the glass.

The smell is sweet and nutty with a distinct citric American flavour. Some mixed hoppy bitter flavours and a touch of rye bread.

The flavour is well balanced with both robust nutty malt and fruity -bitter hops. Mild citric notes (grapefruits, oranges), flowers, roasted root vegetables, and a hint of wheat sourness that I recall from other Slottskällan beers. The aftertaste got caramel notes, fresh bitter hops, some grapefruits and a distinct metallic touch. The finish is a bit sweet and fruity.

The carbonation is quite strong with lots of small bubbles. The liquid is mid-smooth.

A: Dark amber, white creamy head, dissolves quickly.

S:Not much to be honest. Little sweetness, little toffee, and little roasted malt.

T: Some roasted notes and sweet. Little bitterness and the aftertaste is some type of bitter hops. Carbonation is normal for an lager.

O: Quite dull actually. Okay to drink, but nothing more.

The beer is clear dark amber, a hint of orange, the tan head is rather firm and settles slowly leaving some lacing.

The smell is full of sweet malty notes, brown bread, but also some metallic yeast presence mixed with dried grass.

Upfront brown sweet sugar, a nuance of dried apples then rather quickly a distinct bitterness.

Very low carbonation, and the cap more or less fell of, maybe this bottle was not 100% tight.

Honestly I did not feel the american hops, and the hop notes where mostly bitter. And as noted, the bottle might have been compromised, but the beer had not gone really bad.
