(330 ml bottle, in Sweden). A "Swedish profile Bohemian pilsener" - whatever that may be, this is supposed to be it. Typical pils golden colour, moderate head. Above average hoppy aroma, good but not remarkable flavour, well above average bitterness. Not as good as the best Czech pilseners, but far better than the average "neutral" swill.

The beer is clear and golden yellow in colour, the white foam (big bubbles) is at first filling the whole glass. Then, it dissolves quickly.
The mild smell consists of fresh hops. I got the feeling that the beer doesnt let me get closer to its smell.
The carbon dioxide is sparkling with lots of small bubbles that fade after a short while, leaving the palace for the other tastes.
The taste is very well composed; it is somewhat in the mild side for this kind of beer (I would have sorted it into Pilsner rather than Lager, but then again...). The fine bitter taste is working well together with the slightly sweet malt, giving the brew both a freshness and body.
The aftertaste is refreshingly bitter with lots of hops that slowly fade to a more sweet taste that is followed by some dryness with some notes of dried herbs!
So would I have anoter one? Well, frankly, I prefer a little more bite in the bitterness, as usually found in other beer with roots from the Czech Republic. And the name? It comes from the Swedish spelling of the city of Prague.

Pale gold with decent head, butterscotchy aroma, slightly floral, slight burnt malts. sweetish start, bitter finish, light. A bit to burnt in flavour to be Czeck, but has some nice floral saaz in there, could have been better, but i still liked it OK.
