Notes:
As a reaction to those beers with "a theoretic bitterness of 1000 IBU" etc, Slottskällan decided to brew beer with a theoretic bitterness of 0 IBU.
In reality, it got 87 IBU.
Malt: Pilsner, Pale, Dark Cara and Carared.
Hops (Batch Z1101): Citra, Columbus, Northern Brewer, Nelson Sauvin, NZ Cascade, Simcoe and Sorachi Ace. Batch Z1201 is somewhat different hopped and lacks Sorachi Ace.

The colour is gold with a tint of red (9 EBC), the liquid is clear. The beer is bottle conditioned. The finger thick airy head quickly dissolves into an off-white ring. No lacing.
The smell is hoppy with distinct lemon-lime-grapefruit notes. Some jam-like sweetness and hints of caramel malt. Clean bitter notes. There is an odd off-flavour of spices and cooked meat, too. Maybe some hints of tobacco and smoke in the background.
The taste is bitter and flowery with citric notes, especially lime and grapefruit. Fine passing clean sweet notes. Medium body. The aftertaste is quite dry with clean hoppy notes and a medium strong bitterness and some flowery notes. The finish is quite harsh with notes of green berries and unripe fruits.
The carbonation is strong with lots of small short lived bubbles. The liquid is semi-smooth and a bit dry.
An interesting experiment, and apart from the harsh finish, I really liked it.

A: Really nice looking with deep golden, almost copper and a bit hazy. Clean white head with some lacing.
S: Loads of citrus, a little caramel or some sweet lemondrop candy. Smelling a bit to sweet for an IPA maybe. Some pine and resin as well.
T: Again a lot of citrus, some sweet notes, fruity notes. Ends up with a big bitter finish.
M: Quite easy to drink, some sticky feelings on the tongue. Loads of bitterness.
O: One of my favourite swedish IPAs. Maybe not quite there yet but almost as good as Indian tribute. You may also like Slottskällan DIPA, Thurbo DIPA or Drakens DIPA (if you get hold of one that is)
Nice one!

The brew is clear deep golden, almost orange. a white high head with good lacing and some curtains.
The smell is citric and slightly "medical".
Tasting of bread and then an explosion of hops, tropical fruits, lemon, grape-fruit. Very bitter.
Medium carbonation, a medium body, slightly coarse and very dry.
For an utter failure it is not bad - if you're into hops, hops and hops.
