Served from the bottle in a Jackie O's shaker pint glass.
Pours a brackish midnight hickory topped by a half-finger of dirty taupe foam. The nose comprises baking chocolate, sweet cherry, light roast, and a touch of candied orange peel. The taste merges kirsch with some sort of mixture of amaretto and Godiva liqueur, maybe a hint of Kahlua, with some mild Tempranillo and mild vanilla-soaked oak in there for good measure. The body is a stolid medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a feel approaching thick. An odd beer, a bit of a trip, but one that warms up to you as time progresses.
