Brasserie la Malpolon

Looks murky brown/black, not bad, but not the nicest. Smell is astonishing, spicy quadruple, malty barleywine and toasty coffee, chocolate and wood from the stout. All the beers are present. Taste the same, but more muted, with a lasting light burnt aroma. Mouthfeel is too thin, and a little acidic I think. It sort of tickles the tongue and cheeks. Overall does what it sets out to do. I'm still not sure I like it.
