Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a hazy orange-yellow color with a puffy white head. The head fades rather fast, leaving a ton of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strong of a tropical fruits of pineapple, mango, and tangerine. Along with these smells comes some grapefruit hop and a bit of herb. Rounding it all out are aromas of some light dirt and earth as well as a rather strong showing of rye bread.
Taste – The taste begins with a rye bread and tropical fruit sweetened flavor, with the tropical fruits being those of the nose (pineapple, mango, and tangerine. Upfront there is a light grapefruit nad herbal hop as well mixed with a touch of cracker malt flavor and a bit of must and hay. While light upfront, the hops get stronger and stronger as the taste progresses on the tongue, being joined by some earthy flavors and a touch of peach. The rye ramps up at the very end, and with all the other flavor transitions, one is left with a quite pleasantly hopped and malted taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium to thicker in body with a carbonation level that is moderate as well. For the style and the tastes the feel is nice and makes for a good easy sipper.
Overall – A rather nice brew overall. Good flavors and a nice blend of rye, hop, and tropical fruit flavors.

I get the Rye zip, which is not my favorite, but for the style, this is well done and very crushable.
