Pours a clear golden amber with plenty of foam in the Faust Weizen glass. The word for this is smoooooth. Lovely carbonation to stretch out the pleasure. It's an interesting twist on the Cold IPA thing, tasting more like a Lager than any kind of IPA. The hops show up as you take a sip, then fade out to that mellow cereal taste. Interesting flavors of cherry, mango, and some lemon peel.
Bitterness doesn't seem to have entered the equation, though it does have a winey, brambly edge. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea's Brewing. Dated 03/24/2023, which is the same date as the Elusive Queen I just drank. Must have been the day for the canning truck.
