Copenhagen 4/6 2025. 37,5 cl bottle from A Good Case web-shop. Light blue label in Epochal's usual simple design.
Comes gushing out of the bottle leaving a mess. Pours opaque unclear with a big bubbly off-white head. Disappears after a few seconds leaving a thin patch of foam behind. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet and fruity odor mingling with a tart and acerbic scent. Sweet peach and orange. Tart gooseberries and a hint of vinegar.
Light carbonation. Slghtly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger tart bitterness. Aftertaste is tart with a sour streak. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Dry and tart - but no Belgian IPA.
