Faint greenish cast to the nearly clear yellow brew. Long-lasting foam in the Stella Artois goblet. The aroma is fruity and tangy. Some hints of honey and plenty of wood. It tastes more like a Wild Ale with some acidity, or a Brett beer. This doesn't actually resemble anything remotely Scottish, and there is just a faint taste of grain, so the yeast rules. The aftertaste is very yeasty and rather bitter. There's even a hint of smoke, like they had an old Scotch barrel in the mix. Overall this is one for the barrel enthusiasts. From the 375 ml bottle purchased on the West Coast.
