Poured from a can at fridge temp. Pours pitch black with a nice inch of light brown head. The nose is fantastic. Chocolate, roasted malts, dark bread, dark coffee, and some smoke.
The taste is super smooth. Milk chocolate, tobacco, leather, bread, roasted malts, toffee, and coffee. Lovely.

Decanted from a crowler, sealed 12-29-25
Pours a very effervescent cola/chestnut a finger of tan head. Very nice head retention & lacing
S: Roastyness, coffee, trace of vanilla & cocoa, some caramel late & a little black pepper
T: Follows the nose, a little dry more vanilla than coffee, working for me up front. Hints of molasses, vanilla, some roastyness & coffee as this beer warms up along with cocoa. Finishes with a little booze heat, woody hops, roastyness, coffee/chicory & trace amounts of vanilla
MF: Medium body, creamy carbonation, just a little booze bite on the lips & tongue. Pretty creamy would almost think Nitro, warming
Good for style, perhaps a touch too sweet, but didn't detract from my overall enjoyment
