Clear amber color with plenty of foam in the tall goblet. Pleasant fruity brew. Lots of berry taste with interesting grapey aromatics. Tangerine and more zingy citrus, but settles on the blueberry and biscuits theme.
Brewed with "Idaho Gem, Simcoe, and Red Wheat." Presumably that last is the special item on the grain bill, not a new hop. This must be the "Modern" IPA we've been threatened with. Still, it's quite drinkable and smooth without a hint of the Northeast unpleasantness. Really quite flavorful in a fruity way plus a little dose of sweetness, which is fine for sipping. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 03/13/23.
