Clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the snifter. Pleasing sudsy mouthful with aroma of light fruit, lemon, and fresh bread. Not much fruit in the flavor. Quite dry with a resiny note. Maybe a hint of unripe blueberry. Mild bitter aftertaste with some astringency. This is quite quaffable for a light thirst quencher but the light flavors seems to evaporate. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Same batch as the previous review by vurt.

16-ounce can purchased at John's Marketplace, Beaverton, OR. Date stamp reads "MAGNIFICENT 05/01/23". Enjoyed in an English tulip-style half-pint glass.
Look:
Stratavista is bright gold and completely clear, with a dense and somewhat rocky head of snowy white foam. The head condenses to a skin on the surface and a hefty ring around the edges. The lacing is copious and (to borrow a word from the bottom of the can) MAGNIFICENT.
Smell:
Very fruit-forward! A mouth-watering combination of peaches, grapefruit, mango, Red Vines, canned pears, and a splash of Hawaiian Punch. There are also subtle but zesty herbal notes of oregano and green tea.
Taste:
The nose zigs, the flavor zags. It definitely isn't as inviting as the nose. Softly toasty malt leads the way, wrapped in a gauzy cloud of muddled fruit with a touch of orange honey. Good bitterness rises up in the middle, starting off floral/herbal before turning towards orange peel and grapefruit pith in the end. The drying finish is malty with a dusting of lemon/lime SweeTarts.
Feel:
Light-medium body, slightly rounded, with snappy carbonation. Quenching, with fine drinkability.
Overall:
Via Stratavista smells so good that the flavor ends up being something of a letdown. The nose is fresh and lively, but the flavor is muddled and kind of dull. That said, it finishes well, with good citrus character and respectable bitterness. Would drink again. If you see it, try it.
