Draft Pour into Pint Glass

Look: hazy bright yellow, pouring a 1.5 finger head which slowly dissipated into a cap which clung to the sides of the glass

Smell: citrusy upfront, touch of pine, earthy yeast and bready malt. Medium strength nose

Taste: toasty bready malt, and a citrusy hop hit. Lightly bitter with a touch of the grassy, piney hops. Earthy yeast on the tail end of the swallow carrying some of that malt

Feel: Medium body, silky texture, smooth finish

Overall: amazing IPA, one of the best if not the best I’ve had. Complex yet crushable with a respectable abv. I liken this to Maine Lunch IPA in terms a quality with just a different set of flavors

Feathered Friend Brewing IPA - New England / Hazy

First sip is a grainy, earthy, and pine hop punch. Pithy fruit combo with dried leaves and lightly malted golden grains in the balance. Drinkability is high due to the 6.8% abv but doesn't compromise complexity. More on the side a traditional AIPA than a NE except for the haze. Nose has an abundance of fresh hop cone flower sticky pine.
