330ml pull tab that popped off nearly taking my eye out in the process, poured into pint glass 4/3/14 from notes
A not that cloudy for a wit, slight haze in a pale yellow body, just a thin film for foam that leaves a single ring of lace where it existed
S I get a little banana, clove and coriander, some custard but only after I read it on the bottle, none of the aniseed or raspberry mentioned but it dose have a strong mineral aspect almost like classroom chalk
T some dry cereal and less spice and banana, less of everything actually, just a toned down version of the nose
M light and airy, a floral finish, feels like a wit, perhaps a highlight
O basic but decent, goes down easy enough but I'll be board well before this 6 packs finished
I bought this as a Blanche De Chambly substitute for my wife, I'm OK with her having the other 5 as there's to many new beers to try while I'm in NZ and this ones merely OK

On tap. Pint Glass on a hot Singapore afternoon.
Appearance: Cloudy, yellow haze. 1 Finger of foam that didn't last long at all. Surprisingly good lacing.
Aroma: A really great nose on this beer. Smells like a fruity Wit should, with a bit of apple, lemon, and maybe some peach. A slight hint of peach.
Taste: It was a bit of let down. All of the flavors taste like they are muted. Like the beer went through a Brita Water Filter before being poured down my throat. It is a wheat beer, there are hints of fruit, but there is no complexity. An easy drinker for sure, but at what cost?
Mouthfeel: Light body, light carbonation. No creaminess that you would want out of a solid Wit.
Overall: Again, it's an easy drinker with no complexity, and you could easily put away a few away on a hot day - which there are many of here, but if you're into this style, I'd hunt around elsewhere.

Draft at northern steamship brewery.
Pours a pale cloudy yellow with about half finger of head. No lacing.
Nose is quite nice, lemon, coriander, bit of apricot.
Taste is not quite so. There is a bit of lemon and coriander, but it does not seem to mesh as well as the nose let on. Also, just seems muted... boring.
Light to medium bodied, nice carbonation, but just ultimately a boring wit.

Belgian style whitbier and 5% abv. The bottle says: a complex, cloudy Belgian witbier with banana, bubblegum and Turkish delight flavors leading to open discussion of rhubarb and custard, raspberry, aniseed, orange peel and coriander. Can you see why I picked it up?
It poured a cloudy orangish hay color with a white head and good lacing. It smelled of definite pink bubblegum, typical banana and clove. It tasted very wheaty with coriander spice, strong orange peel and banana flavors. It was light and good to drink on the beach. However, I think the person who wrote the description on the bottle was smoking something else while it was written. Rhubarb? Raspberry? Custard? Did they mix 2 beers together? Absolute marketing scheme and I was a total sucker.
