Poured into a narrow pint glass: color is amber, not clear but not hazy, head is tan with an amber tinge, head presents one finger thick, head then dissipates to nothing, limited ring along glass sides.

Smell is caramel malt blended with light belgian yeast esters, some phenol, sweet dark fruit notes.

Taste is more caramel malt with light belgian yeast esters with dark fruit (cherry), limited hops.

Mouthfeel is low carbonation, moderate sweetness, lower bitterness.

Overall a sweeter dubbel - heavy on caramel with lighter dark fruit notes.
