Empire Belgian Dubbel has a dark ruby color with a medium mouth feel. Flavors of full malt, toffee, fig and plums are complimented by a subtle tart finish.

On-tap at the brewpub, Tim Burton is the new brewmaster. Not the stellar of the lineup I caution that this recipe will need considerable tweaking and is adventuresome for Syracuse. Medium mouthfeel, but sour, infected yeast? Good head, lace. For a Belg fan, I found this not too drinkable.
