Notes:
East Coast Amber is clean and refined, with just the right balance of English Malt and American Hops. It's not too sweet and not too bitter, just like our beloved East Coast brewers.

Numerical review is a nominal "average" because the beer I tasted was probably spoiled.
A chilled, undated bottle if Empire East Coast Amber was poured into a glass in August, 2019. The amber beer was slightly cloudy with a head that fell quite quickly. The taste was slightly sour and seemed highly attenuated. This might indicate the bottled beer was old, or possibly is just a poorly brewed product had a bottle refermentation. Since I can't tell the age of the beer (no apparent marking) either is possible. Beware undated bottles of Empire East Coast Amber.

On tap at Clover Club Brooklyn. Super refreshing and fairly simple amber ale from our friends in Syracuse. Not too hoppy or malty. A tasty brew but not overly memorable.

Extremely bitter, not much flavor otherwise

On tap at Clover Lanes in Pittsford, NY.
This one pours a clear medium amber, with a half inch head, and a little bit of lacing.
This one doesn't smell like a whole lot, a bit of toasted bread, and some metallic sort of stuff.
This doesn't really taste all that good. It's got a weird metallic character to it that I don't love. There's a perfunctory toasted malt/caramel note to this as well that's not particularly interesting.
This is medium bodied, with a crisp mouthfeel, and a higher level of carbonation.
Kinda boring, honestly. Not bad, but not particularly interesting at all.
