16 FL. OZ. can
Served in an imperial nonic pint glass
This beer pours dark brown and is topped with a fleeting tan head that leaves no trace of its existence.
It smells like pumpkin with some chocolate, vanilla, and even hints of coffee.
It has a nice pumpkin spice flavor. The stout aspects hold up well to the spices. I get vanilla and hints of chocolate.
Medium bodied with a velvety smooth mouthfeel
I like the Black Magic series. I had the Irish one in the spring. Both have been quite pleasant to quaff.

DATE: October 14, 2022... OCCASION: celebrating another week with an appropriate drink... GLASSWARE: Guinness pint... pours a dark-as-midnight body, ringed by an ochre string of bubbles and hazy film... intense aroma of cinnamon and cardamom, fennel and butterscotch, anise, gingerbread and toasted bread malts... its mouthfeel is soft, smooth, and easily drinkable--a medium-bodied, filling draw that welcomes the next sip... its finish is sweet and pitched, lasting more than a few seconds... for a beer of this weight, a savory profile is produced, with cinnamon, cardamom, sweat raisins, rye bread, and vanilla mix into a flavorful dessert offering... this seems to evoke different flavors every time I sip it--a laundry list could ensue... happy to have a four-pack of this, I would seek this out again and rank it among the better pumpkin stouts/ales I have had... especially fitting for a longer night of trick or treating!

Canned on 8-2-22. 16oz can poured into a tulip.
Pours almost black; fluffy light khaki head that fades quickly leaving little retention and lacing.
The aromas have a nice amount graham crackers along with some subtle pumpkin spice. Some veggies and sweet potato. Hints of cocoa and whipped cream. Some buttered popcorn. Malts are there.
The flavors follow the nose. More graham crackers and veggies leading the way. The spices are subtle and not aggressive at all, and I mean that in a good way. More cocoa along with some chocolate. More vanilla emulating whipped cream. Some caramel in the mix. Moderate bitterness and moderate sweetness. Malts do their thing. Alcohol is well hidden.
Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It's sharp, fluffy, and smooth.
This is a really nice pumpkin stout. It has the strong graham cracker notes that a lot of pumpkin beers never seem to have. This beer has strong Pumking and Warlock vibes. Well done.

Pours dark. Light foam. Pumkin aroma. Big pumkin body. Chocolate and caramel finish. One of the best pumpkin stouts I've had.
