Black Magic Irish Coffee Stout combines fresh roasted coffee bean, lactose + vanilla, and blended beer aged in oak whiskey barrels. A unique Barrel Aged option with ALL the flavor, but a lower ABV % than your typical BA.

Solid black appearance with very thin tan head.
Light carbonation with an above average body. Slight thick creamy feel
Aroma is malt, roasted malt, scotch, bourbon, roasted espresso beans.
Taste is mildly sweet but oddly slightly dry nonetheless. Roasted malt, black coffee, and mild licorice.
Overall this is an excellent beer that worked perfectly as a dessert beer

16 ounce can, canned on 12/28/21, thanks to Brutaltruth for this brew! Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like whiskey, vanilla, roasted malt, coffee and a hint of dark fruit. Taste is close to the aroma, but there's also the addition of some dark chocolate and bourbon flavors too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth a slick with a moderate amount of carbonation. Worth trying if you get the chance, it's a good overall brew!

Ebony with a 1" tan head, which lasts. Moderate lacing.
Aroma of coffee, chocolate, roast malt.
Taste is coffee, cocoa, roast malt, a faint bourbon with a slight sweetness.
Full body, light carbonation. Semisweet to dry finish.
Outstanding. One of the best Irish coffee stouts I've tasted.

16 FL. OZ can
Served in an imperial nonic pint glass
This beer pours black and is topped with a couple inches of tan head that leaves little lacing.
I don't get as much coffee as expected. It opens up a little more as it warms. I get some milk chocolate and vanilla. Finally, some whisky smell comes through as it approaches room temperature.
Once again, the coffee is less than expected. I also get the milk chocolate and vanilla that I smelled.
Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel
Decent coffee stout. It fails to deliver much in the way of coffee or barrel aging, but anymore a day spent in a barrel is considered barrel aged and is just a gimmick to get suckers like me to buy.

Blended with coffee and beer aged in whiskey barrels; 7% abv, 12/28/21 canning... Not bad - don't usually buy a 4-pack of something I've never had from a brewer I've never heard of lol... Has something of an Irish whiskey/Irish coffee taste, very smooth and soft - pillowy almost... Sweet up front - was concerned it was too much but it abates and then you get the cream and coffee and whiskey creep in... Very nicely expressed... Carbonation looked good on the pour with a thick dark tan head, but it vanished rather quickly and left the beer looking like black glass the rest of the way... I'm gonna stick by saying its a little sweeter than I like, but I may be an outlier there, and overall it's drinking very nicely...
