Pours a cloudy orange with a couple fingers of white fluffy foam. Aroma is heavy floral, herbal, and grassy hops with fragments of orange and lemon zest behind. Crackery, wafery malts add a cut of dryness, which saws off the hops from lingering. Flavor profile is herbal, tropical fruits, and floral hops, with a special emphasis on that middle note - tropical fruits. It clings to orange zest and lemon. Crackery, wafery, and bready malts add some firmness and dryness beyond the hops. Finish really leans into bread, drinking like biting into a loaf of lemon zest bread. Mouth feel is medium-thin with a fuzzy texture. It is nearing crisp, but is just soft enough to not be quite refreshing. Overall, the hop play here really helps this beer excel past the typical dry malt notes. That said, it is still refreshing, and 'ticks' the box for a moderately crisp, easy drinking lager.

Served in a 15.5oz Spiegelau tulip from a 16oz can.
