Pours amber with a copper hue. Transparency is clear. Three fingers of tan foam sit atop and retain well. Aroma is toasty, bready, and caramelly malts. Fig and toffee add a touch of sweetness over a note of grain and herbal & mild grassy hops. Caramel really pops nicely as the beer warms. Flavor profile is bread, caramel, toast, and thin, crispy wafer malts. Grain cuts through again. Herbal and grassy hops add some dynamic to the dry malt. Playful bite of hops and then dry. Mouth feel is crispy with a medium thickness. Texture is refreshing. Overall, crispy and dry lager with a good body presence.
