Handsome dark russet brown brew with abundant beige foam in the Faust Weizen glass. Pleasant grainy aroma with a winey nose. Sudsy and lush on the tongue. Roasted grain flavors with just a touch of sweet malt. Also some dark fruit. Then charred barley in the finish and a little bitterness in the aftertaste. Overall this is a more complex and highly drinkable dark Lager. From the 16 oz can purchased at Cellars in far northeast Phoenix.

Dark, reddish-brown. Roasty, malty, nutty smell and taste with a little cola--hints at sweetness without being sweet. Well-balanced with a lovely long finish.
