One of FBC’s most popular ales. This is a medium bodied American Amber Ale that has a delicate balance of caramel malt, Cascade & Willamette hops that is sure to please everyone.

I had this on tap at the brew pub in Flagstaff, AZ.
A: clear medium amber, with a decent off-white head. Good lacing.

The aroma was quite faint and largely reflected some brett r wild yeast.
Tasting seemed to confirm Brett, and right here at the brewhouse! The mouthfeel was off too, being too astringent, nearly biting.

Avoid at this time. .

It's hard not to give this beer a perfect score, it's pretty damn close.. the pour leaves a rich head atop a beautiful red amber, it smells like a beer ought to, and tastes as good as you hope it does when it's sitting in front of you.. I've drank A LOT of this beer and will always associate flagstaff with this microbrew, it's the first thing that comes to mind when someone mentions AZ, the quintessential western mountain beer..

I apologize, this is a hindsight review so I cannot and will not try to depict the olfactory notes and specifics of the taste, i guess you'll just have to try it... what a great beer..
