Copenhagen 19/9 2022. 37,5 cl bottle from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Grumpy Demonic Goat-Lady zapping a Crimson drink on the label.
Pours opaque, murky Burgundy with an off-white head. Stable. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intensewith an aggressive and sharp sourness mellowed bit by a light fruity sweetness and some wooden complexity. Sour gooseberries, sour cherries and a touch of vinegar. Sweet grapes and old wine barrel.
Light carbonation. Sightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with light sweetness followed by strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour with subtle sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is bone-dry with an acerbic bite.
Fine sour take on a Flanders Red with a subtle touch of wood and fruit.
