Copenhagen 30/8 2023. 40 cl from tap at Taphouse, Lavendelstræde, Kbh. K.
Pours opaque murky, dark maroon with a small off-white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light sweet and fruity odor mingling with tart berries. Sweetie dark grapes and raspberry. Tart gooseberries with a light whiff of vinegar.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong, tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Dry and sour without being Flemish.
