Copenhagen 11/7 2023. 37,5 cl bottle from Mikkeller & Friends Bottle Shop, Torvehallerne, Kbh. K. Blue label with a drawing of a fiery and flaming Phoenix.
Pours unclear - almost opaque - yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, fruity, fermented odor mingling with a more subtle tart scent. Oxidized apple and cider. Subdued citrus and lime. Whiff of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium sweetness followed by a more moderate tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Pleasant and too tart Golden Sour.
