This was one of those beers that got "lost" in the cellar. Brought it back with me from a trip to Paris in 2011. The sour tones were definitely prominent. The age probably caused it to lose some of the sweetness that others have reported. Very interesting beer!

A : ale from a French artisanal brewery describes itself as a stout on the label, produced a huge high-rise head.
S : It is musty on the nose, malty, roasty notes consistent with a stout.
T & M : In the mouth there is an immediate and distinct sour note, more like a traditional porter than a stout, although there is also a little sweetness. There is a touch of roast malt in the finish, but overall, despite its undeniable complexity
D : For my point of view the best beer brewered by Oc'ale
