I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery.
Appearance: medium brown hue with a bit of haze and a thin layer of tan foam atop. Not bad.
Smell: bready malt with just a dash of nuttiness. I feel like the figs don't come through much.
Taste: sweet and malty with lots of breadiness. Like the aroma, the figs don't come through explicitly, but there is a general fruitiness. Bitterness is balanced but a bit raspy.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a decent carbonation and a darn good creaminess.
Overall: I'm conflicted about this beer. From an alcohol standpoint, it drinks below its ABV. That said, the combination of sweetness and raspy bitterness negatively impact drinkability.
