German-inspired Helles lager made with Weyermann floor-malted Bohemian Pilsner malt and Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops, naturally spunded, and lagered for 6 weeks in our horizontal lager tank. Crispy, slight grainy sweetness, with a perfectly balanced restrained bitterness.

No date on can, into a pils glass.
Pours a pale gold with good creamy foam but surpisingly little lacing. Aroma is bready pils malt, sourdough, and a little apple. Not super sweet. Flavor follows nose, very nicely malty, not too sweet or bitter, and surprisingly rich. It could stand to be a bit more snappy, but I like the levels of malt flavor. There's some fresh hay as well that adds some complexity. Feel is good, a little under carbed for what I like out of a helles, but not bad and it's very drinkable without any strange or distracting flavors.
Overall, standard good helles. Compares well to imports and was also much fresher than most that I'd find here.
