The next generation of our field rotation lager series has finally arrived after patiently maturing for almost a year. When we brewed Calder at the close of 2024, we thought it keen to produce a Schwarzbier variant as well, tucking it aside to continue to lager and cold-condition for the duration of 2025.
Soft and smooth, Mature Idiom is laced with notes of Manhattan Special, cocoa puff cereal milk, vanilla, cinnamon and molasses. This is almost certainly what you’ll find us drinking behind the bar on chillier days. Pair with a grilled, dry-aged ribeye or braised short ribs.
