I had this beer on-tap in a tumbler at the brewery in Zürich.
Appearance: medium amber-orange hue with a dash of haze and a finger of frothy light tan foam atop.
Smell: moderately sweet with some caramel and really rather a lot of breadiness. Quite malty and appropriate to the style.
Taste: very bready indeed right up front, with more of that caramel and sweetness from the aroma. Bitterness is moderate and overall well balanced. Solid.
Mouthfeel: medium light body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a pretty solid example of the style. I'm not always an amber lager guy, but there's a lot to like here.
