Attractive looking reddish-amber pour under a modest cream colored head. Good clarity.
Aroma of Irish malt sweetness such as caramel and toffee and a vague fruit sensation often associated with the style. Background fruity hops.
Light-medium mouthfeel.
Sweet malt forward but a bigger bitterness than I anticipated. Enjoyable within the style. The beer is named after the founders of the town where this brewery is located.
