This light-orange beauty has a perfect balance of spicy intrigue from regeneratively grown Danko Rye with some easily digestible tropical notes from a new favorite hop: NY-grown Excelsior. As always, brewed with a melange of yeasts and bottle-conditioned. A living and loving beer.

The pale yellow bottle pour hosts a 1cm cap of white foam and a delicate aroma of pepper and lemon.
The flavor follows the nose. Some rye spice is noted and a hay-like hop aspect. The saison yeast is superb.
The body is light and the flavors persist in the finish.
This is superb.

Purchased at the brewery a week ago in bomber bottle. Opened for Christmas. Pours cloudy gold with a wonderful pillowy white head. Has a smell of wheat and a bit grassy. Has a nice c isp clean flavor with a bit of spice. They rye malt comes through as well.

Cloudy, orange, color. Thick frothy, velvety white head. Aroma has notes of spicy rye, light orange citrus, some yeast and malt. Taste follows the nose with the hops bringing a more tropical/citrus note and providing some moderate bitterness. The rye is there proclaiming some spiciness but otherwise well integrated and subtle. Feel is spritzy and lively. Bright carbonation. Semi-dry finish.

A lovely Bière de garde.
