spokane gets yet another brewery, what a great scene up there! this place is poised to do well, very cool old building right downtown, some neat architectural features, definitely some history here, tons of natural light coming through three sides worth of windows, some tanks visible in the back when you walk in, bar in the center of the place, scattered seating but this place could hold a fair few thirsty patrons, love the mellow energy here, the sun coming in, it immediately feels unique. they had about half guest beers on tap when i was in, only been up and running a few weeks so i expect the lineup to fill out with more of their own brews over time, but its diverse enough for sure. i had two, a cold ipa with citra and mosaic that was excellent, super clean on the ferment, snappy in feel, and a solid irish stout that was rather robust, both show a ton of promise, and with some formal brewing education at work here, they are already ahead of the curve. i had awesome bar service from the brewer, hes young, energetic, and humble, and i expect the beers to be awesome here. definitely a place i plan to keep checking in on when i am in town! looks like they are already doing some canning too, so maybe big plans here, including a barrel program. stay tuned, the future appears bright!
