May 2013: On tap at Haand Festival 2013, Drammen. Orange colour, low white head. Moderately fruity aroma with notes of oak and bourbon barrel. Fruity and moderately acidic flavour with distinct notes of oak and bourbon. Lovely warming mouthfeel (or rather: throatfeel), spicy finish.

Orange lightly brown color with a thick white head with decent retention.
Original and nice aroma with a devil in the detail that is hard to grasp probably the bourbon which matched well with their fruity profile with notes of vanilla, white wine, pears.
Flavor with notes of overripe oranges, vanilla, mild bourbon, light chocolate, elegant tartness, molasses, apple puree, pineapple, cloves, Belgian yeast, cinnamon and white grapes. Astringent aftertaste.
Medium body with perfect carbonation. Alcohol of 11% abv is felt but I didn’t think it spoils the beer.
Alcoholic beer with decent complexity predominating sweet white grapes.
