A 500ml bottle, 2016 vintage, with a best before date of December 2021. Poured into an Alvinne teku glass.
Appearance: A lightly hazy rusty orange brown colour with a one finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly and settled to a thin layer.
Aroma: Tart, sour, mixed berries, vinous, oak, with a splash of vinegar and acetone.
Taste: Sour, tart, mixed berries, vinous, grape, oak, and lemon.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
Overall: Very nice and balanced with great complexity and enjoyable berry notes.

Hazy orange brownish color with almost no head. Aroma has complex barrel notes with fermented fruits, mostly berries. Taste follows with tart fruits, some apple vinegar, berries and some yeast funk. Medium body and carbonation.

2005 vintage, poured into a wine glass.
Not having tried half of the berries that went into making this truly unique and amazing brew, I feel that my ability to review this beer is seriously limited, but here goes nothing.
The Morpheus sourdough rears its head again, but this time it's not not as commanding as it was with the regular Wild West. Instead, sour cherries, raspberries, mild French oak, and even hints of peppery spice and floral notes are the dominant impressions on the nose, with sporadic balsamic-esque sprinkles of what I can only assume to be buckthorn, gooseberries, jostaberries, and wild blueberries.
A whole lot of fruit and initially chili peppers on the palate. I can definitely taste the sour cherries and raspberries blending nicely together in a manner akin to 3 Fonteinen's Hommage. Also getting big gulps of blackcurrant-like dark fruit, and some more sweet berries in the background that I can't quite identify, topped off by a nice peppery accent.
A dry wave of lactic sourness--complements of the Morpheus yeast--comes in to finish the job, providing a nice balance to the berry blast.
Medium-light mouthfeel, with pleasant tongue-tickling carbonation. It's a damn shame they've only filled 300 bottles of this because this is an amazing brew that I would gladly try again; this is most likely the only beer I'll ever try that has a more convoluted berry bill than its malt/hops.
