330ml bottle from Letraria, Porto (€5):
Dark caramel to mahogany with a few soapy bubbles for a head after an aggressive pour but not the worst for the abv. Dark, sweet fruit notes with fig & dates, some caramel, plum & hints of alcohol too. Boozy with a lot of caramel, fig, plum & molasses then a touch of sourness but it's subtle - some hints of port to hint too but it's lighter that expected, somewhere around medium bodied with minimal carbonation. Pleasant & warming without being anywhere near as sour as expected.
