I visited Saucy's new Detroit brewery while in town a couple weeks ago. On my visit, they had 19 of their beers on tap plus a guest NA beer, representing a wide variety of styles from schwarzbier to gose to hazy IPA, with stouts and lagers mixed in. I dig it!
Of the beers I had, I think my favorite was the schwarzbier, though the hazy IPA and gose were also not bad. The red velvet cake white stout was, in a word, interesting.
Vibe is clean and a little industrial with a few TVs on the wall with sports but it's anything but a sports bar (they also advertise drag shows, so). Super chill; they have a pizza kitchen and a coffee shop attached. There is a small but serviceable brewhouse visible from the taproom; I'm guessing it's some kind of a pilot system (given that this is a brewery chain).
Service at the bar is quick and friendly, and the staff had good recommendations for other breweries to visit. I was pretty favorably impressed by Saucy.
