2026 edition:
Bright pale gold, thin layer of foam and spotty lacing. Aroma is mild, minerally with a light bacterial funk, no grapes.
Taste is pleasantly tart, crisp bite with a little oak and THP cheerios sadly. Grapes are understated, light grainy malt.
Crisp and effervescent, a light refreshing table beer.

Pours a cloudy, matte, completely opaque pale orange-yellow color. Thin frothy white head forms on the beer, lingers just a moment, then quickly dissipates.
The aroma has notes of lemon zest, lemon, chardonnay, chardonnay grapes, oak, some light funkiness and wet blanket followed by a touch of dried hops.
Taste follows the nose with notes of lemon zest, lemon and lemon pith giving way to a moderate amount of funkiness with notes of wet horse blanket and wet straw. Additional notes come through bringing chardonnay, grape must, oak, black pepper, earthy hops and some light lingering yeast notes. The zesty profile of the base Table still comes through, but it is somewhat mellowed by the chardonnay notes which bring their own musty funk.
Feel is light, lively, zesty. Bright, prickly carbonation. Dry finish. Pretty tart, but not really sour.
Overall it is another impressive, tasty saison from Sundial.

Released 7/16/22; drank 7/17/22 @ the Yarchives.
Dull, cloudy yellow appearance.
An even pour yielded a small, bright white head; minimal lace.
Oak, dry white grape & black pepper notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
White grape & dry oak flavors up front; black pepper & a savory notes I can't quite place on the finish.
For a low ABV table beer this packs a lot of flavor; my complaint is perhaps it's too much for a sipper with dinner! Sundial seems like an outfit to watch...
