Ombre toasty brown with an oatmeal colored head and sudsy lacing. Smells is a concert of rye, lavender, orange, honey, dry earth, robust toasty yeast, brown bread, and barnyard funk. This is really well balanced! Taste adds fall leaves and earthy spice in a supporting role, lavender is more subtle here too. Feel is funky but more so wild, medium bodied, smooth with a touch of graininess from rye and yeast, carb is on the higher end for the style. Wow this is expressive yet balanced all the way through, really enjoyed, yes fall would be an optimal time to have this one
