Served at cellar temperature in a pint glass. Slightly darker than the Hefewizen they are also brewing for summer. Cloudy light amber in color. Quite sweet with just a touch of bitterness, and a longer hop-kissed aftertaste. But mostly it's about the endless spicy, yeasty, murky, and rich flavors. More full of esters than many German-style wheat beers. Really powerful clove taste. I wouldn't mind this served cold in a chilled mug. Got a problem with that? ARRR!!
Enjoyed at the old 2nd Street location handy to the rail trail. No IBU listed.
