Rural City Beer Co. "Lager Hosen"
12 fl. oz. can without production codes or freshness dating
Notes via stream of consciousness: Its poured a mostly clear golden body beneath a thumb's width of white foam. The aroma is malty and fruity with apple but not particularly hoppy. That's odd for a lager. On to the taste - there's more hop there, mainly herbal in character, but also a bit grassy. The malt is clear, and a solid bitterness balances it nicely and leads to a dry finish with the bitterness lingering. In the mouth it's medium bodied and crisp. The fermentation could have certainly been better, and the head retention and lacing are lacking as well, but in terms of taste it's a fairly solid lager that you could go back to again and again.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
