This had a murky, orange-brown body with sudsy foam. Aroma was a little fruity and malty. Flavors seemed to suggest an ale yeast with fruity esters, medium malt presence.
Adequate carbonation, more full bodied and less crisp than the average Maibock.
It didn't really look and taste the part of a traditional Maibock, but was drinkable all the same.
