Gifted for Christmas in 2021. Drunk in May 2022.
L: Black with dark brown highlights. Half-finger, tan-coloured head.
S: Coffee, dark malts, berries, cola.
T: Strongly red berries and rich caramel, and then coffee, roast, pipe tobacco. There's a slight metallic twang.
F: Smooth. Low carbonation.
O: A nice beer, with strong berries and rich caramel notes. The pipe tobacco allusion was interesting but was overwhelmed by the stronger flavours.
