Pours a dark brown color with a minimal head that disappears quickly. Aroma of black coffee and roasted malts. Taste is black coffee. Not sweet at all.

a: silky jet black color with a rocky, frothy dark tan head
s: nice aroma of roasted malts with a strong woody note. slight brown sugar and raw coffee beans. some cola and caramel behind that. milk and dark chocolate. a hint of leather. i'm surprised how complex the aroma is on this given the abv
t: roasted malts and some bitterness from that right away. slight dark chocolate that immediately fades into fresh coffee. some very light caramel and brown sugar notes. taste thins out pretty quickly here, but that is to be expected with the abv
m: light mouthfeel with strong carbonation
o: this is billed as a session Stout, and it delivers that in a very nice way. excellent aroma, and though it's a bit watery in flavor, i think thats what they were going for - it's good, just thin. glad the coffee made it into the taste
