Picked up in Mexico
Pours a fizzy foamy small head with lower retention, a little lacing, very clear auburn to ruby color
Nose sweet malts, caramel, toffee, biscuity, lots of toasted sweet bread crust, little honey, fruity esters an almost red berry like aroma, light herbal hops, hint of roast and chocolate notes
Taste semi sweet again, fair fruity up front with more berry and jammy and hinting at continued fermentation kinda thing that fruity leaning towards infection but not infected, light herbal hop bitterness, fair sweet malts, toasted grainy malt, bread crust, sweet bread, little toffee, chocolate pastry, drier finish, a bit astringent
Mouth is med bod, lower carb
Overall not the greatest, but not too bad, seems like they bottled too early before it was finished, but lack of carbonatino makes me thing it got out somehow yet I don't see any bad seal, maybe they added some yeast with sugar for bottling but not enough so it struggled and had a bad time in the bottle
